You love all things data related and look forward to educating and guiding customers on Salesforce data strategy and best practices, (i. e. data cleansing, MDM options, deduplication etc). Defining data conversion approaches and transformation logic for each project is where you thrive.  You will collaborate with the CodeScience project team, and your client, to develop detailed data maps to validate migration and transformation activity.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Analyze technical data migration issues, apply expertise to resolve problems, communicate solutions and preventive measures to customers.
  • Serve as a data expert on projects focused on Salesforce and the platform.
  • Develop, maintain, and refine best practices for data processes and architecture.
  • Conduct project reviews and recommend data modeling, administrative, and design improvement.
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and research advanced data technologies and concepts, learning new skills and software as necessary.
  • Demonstrate high-level knowledge of enterprise IT organizational, business, and technical environments.
  • Produce highly detailed document artifacts and maintain them for the duration of projects.
  • Assess all risks and offer mitigation strategies, communicating impacts to project across appropriate channels.
  • Interpret client functional and informational needs and turn them into data requirements and process models.

Desired Experience and Characteristics
  • Demonstrated deep data integration and/or migration experience with and other cloud-enabled tools
  • Experience with master data management, data governance, data security, data quality and related tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Ability to drive tasks to conclusion with others on your team.
  • Possess a client-focused attitude through conversations and documentation
  • Hands-on ability to set up reporting tools and build reports and ad hoc functionality
  • Related certifications in Salesforce a plus
  • Previous experience in consulting is a plus
  • Salesforce Health Cloud data model experience is a place
Required Technology
  • 3+ years leading and managing complex data migration projects on the platform.
  • Expertise in current data management tools including, but not limited to, Informatica, Mulesoft and the Salesforce Data Loader.
  • Expertise with Bulk API and knowledge of when to leverage this functionality.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce standard data models and record types.
  • Familiarity with standard system auditing fields and limitations to manipulating data within certain areas of the platform.
